My work was related to the Research and Development activities in the field of thermal engineering, analysis and optimization of equipment, installations and processes in Power Plants and CHPs.- numerical modeling leading to the implementation of new solutions or to the determination of the technology influence on the devices and processes,- searching for new solutions and tools to improve process efficiency, monitoring boiler performances and operating conditions,- participation in the implementation of new solutions resulting in ongoing research,- identification of the research and development needs and initiation of the processes in thermodynamics and numerical modeling,- preparation of proposals for programs and schedules of ongoing research,- preparation of final reports and recommendations based on the results obtained in the conducted research projects,- presenting results on the conferences, publishing results in scientific journals, cooperation with universities, research institutes and industrial partners as well as technical supervision for interns.

- Conducting research using numerical modeling of thermodynamic processes and monitoring systems.- Numerical modeling of combustion, heat and mass transfer processes using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).- Thermodynamic and thermo-flow calculations of processes and equipment operation.- Analyzes of problems related to the thermodynamics of technological processes.

Analysis of coal-fired boiler operation.Modeling of coal combustion process in coal-fired boiler using Code_Saturne (EDF in-house CFD code).Model validation with experimental results.
