Technology: SQL Server 2000 DTS, VB6Responsibility: Requirement Gathering from regional end users, Design & Development, Unit & Integration Testing, Documentation & Implementation  Developed DTS Packages to Poll all the Sales, Financial, Stock Management, Voids and damages data from various European office servers, Reformat each record types in different supported formats and transfer the consolidated result files to Claires Master Server. Responsible for polling, loading and testing large amount of data, making sure the package is efficient enough to handle the high volume of data. Required Error Logging and Email Notifications incorporated. Created an application in VB to run the package and input the parameters.  Developed DTS Package to process Transaction Log files (ASCII Flat files) for each Claires Store in France & UK, identify the stores which haven’t been polled for a day and a till in a store that haven’t been polled. The process works dynamically to process n numbers of stores with n numbers of tills.  Worked on Enhance Payroll Interfaces & Employee Management Interfaces as part of Claires Global Move to replace old POS. Developed DTS for the same.
