Ran the Asda team, responsible for £60m sales and a budget of £10m. Led strategy and negotiation, and responsible for execution through my team.Unlocked a very difficult and sustained negotiation deadlock with Asda, creatively selling a £56m joint business plan as a solution to long-term margin issues. Reversed the long-term trend of declining account profitability, caused by escalating trade spend.

Ran business unit for top UK/Eire Grocery retailers. Directly handled largest accounts, and led team of Account Managers. Developed strategies for sustainable growth, as the category moved into maturity.

Responsible for £45m portfolio of McVitie’s branded products, and for cost release projects across a £100m+ portfolio of Own Label biscuits.
