CurrentResponsible for logistical concepts, objectives, and execution in support of real world events, deployed forces, and Joint Chief of Staff sponsored exercises. Reviews and prepares policies and briefings for the organization. Provides guidance and recommendations to leadership. Advises and assists host nation staff and Security Cooperation Offices in Latin America. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates logistical requirements and prepares position statements as to the impact on the command support capabilities. Integrates the spectrum of logistics processes within the joint military community and combines logistics elements into coherent plans. Forecasts budget for the logistics directorate including exercises, conferences, supplies, and other. Reviews and prepares policies. Participates in site surveys, concept development, and planning conferences.• Enabled first ever Chilean participation in Exercise EMERALD WARRIOR 2015; moved and supported 100 passengers and 10 short tons of equipment.• Conceptualized multi-national event plan; managed seven contracts/45 contractors in providing logistics support in Colombia. Condensed planning by 6 months, enabled 17-nation participation, and saved $403K.• Directed efforts for future Southern Command area of responsibility base operations support contracts. Provided recommendations and secured $165K for team house assessments leading to future contracts in seven countries.• Led contracting efforts for refurbishment of facilities South America. Drafted bilateral implementing agreement and leveraged the Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreement Program to enable project. • Supported command exercises/bilateral training events: PANAMAX, FUSED RESPONSE, GATOR AIDE, FORCES COMMANDO, SOUTHERN STAR and NORTHERN STAR.• Managed contracting officer representatives for multiple vehicle contracts valued at $1.6M.• Executed HQ's $750K maintenance contract• Served as acting Command Engineer. Managed $47M headquarters building.
