About Paul B.

As a decisive and motivating leader, I aim to create a positive working environment for colleagues across the management matrix. Possessing a diverse range of experience based on an exciting and extensive career in the British Army, I offer a unique strategic approach, an eye for detail and sound judgement. Whilst in the British Army, I have held the responsibility for over 250 military and civilian personnel and have managed complex infrastructure, transformation projects and change programmes with high value budgets and assets. I have a successful track record in positions of responsibility and have been accountable for buildings, facilities, funds and ensuring that equipment holdings worth more than £100 million were fit for purpose and serviceably maintained. During my career I have had the privilege of serving as Second in Command of a front-line Army Air Corps Regiment, the manager of a highly skilled Training Design Team, as well as providing assurance to the British Army’s Recruiting Partnership with Capita. I have highly developed project management, leadership, training design, personnel management and influencing skills. I strive for excellence; and can prioritise workload, distribute resources and propose ambitious, achievable aims and have a proven track record working in complex and fast-moving client focused operations. I have now begun the process of transitioning into the civilian employment sector and I’m actively looking for the right opportunity to make the most of the leadership, project, program, facilities management and training design experience that I have forged during my career. I am looking for a role where I may continue my own development and bring value and loyalty to an organisation that can utilise my specialist skills. I also look forward to enhancing the performance and careers of others through my proven and credible leadership and people management skills.Whilst balancing work commitments I have a keen interest in health and fitness, and a love of the outdoors, regularly cycling, running, hill walking and mountaineering. I hope LinkedIn will provide an opportunity to network with professionals internationally.
