Founded in February 2016, we are an entertaining, family and close business. We like to look after our people and enjoy ourselves whilst we help our clients. We help you to break through the language barried and to solve doubts with any language. As a Chilean company in the cultural field, at Grato Language Solutions we are dedicated to writing, translation, checking and interpreting, as well as helping to improve skills and advising our customers in matters related to language. Furthermore, we act as consultants to foreigners and we encourage tourism through interpersonal connections from diverse languages and in different sectors and fields, counting on high standards of quality to guarantee authenticity and truthfulness in the target language.

I was an English teacher at the Business School, Manuel Montt branch, where I taught business administration and business studies students both in day and night classes. I was able to form bonds of professional friendship along with empowering students who had little background knowledge in English. On a personal level, I learned a lot of vocabulary, terms and procedures from the now world that have served me to found, strengthen and empower Grato Language Solutions up until now.

I taught English to all the cadets, sub-alféreces, officers, NCOs, and employees in general. In addition, I was the official translator-interpreter during events and activities with foreign delegations. My commitment went upon taking out Chilean nationality in a ceremony with President Bachelet in the year 2007, when I felt a call to dedicate myself more to my work and I became a reserve officer in the Chilean Army. The doctrine, discipline and of course the friendships I made were the foundation that gave birth to the founding of Grato Language Solutions in the year 2016.

In my brief stint at the university, I learned the importance of raising awareness with students and adapting my classes to their needs. I realised just how important the use of colour, music and themes that are of interest to each person in their learning process are, along with adding flexibility to the structure of a class. This learning experience has remained with me to this day in Grato Language Solutions where we offer structured and organised plans from a pedagogical point of view but which at the same time are a tailor-made for each student.

My job as an English teacher at the ICBC was my baptism of fire in the world of work after I graduated from university in England. It was an experience of professional maturity where I learned to move on from mistakes and and get up from blows to move forward in an increasingly strengthened way. I taught English classes to children, teenagers, and adults at all times at the Ñuñoa branch in Santiago, both in classrooms at the branch itself and in the field. I enjoyed this valuable experience that gave me my first steps in the world of work here in Chile.
