My name is Panagiotis Chaloulos and I have attained my BSc Degree at the Agricultural University of Athens, Food Science & Human Nutrition Department. The desire to work on creative roles, along with the intuition to always try to understand things in depth, led me to pursue a PhD in Food Engineering, which I am currently completing. I 've always been passionate about making an impact through my work, therefore my academic path has been drastically shaped by the challenges of our times. The greatest challenge of our generation undoubtedly is to make every field of human existence fully sustainable as soon as possible. Food sector is a significant contributor to this, hence I would love to serve such a noble, yet practical purpose.On the other hand, food production is directly linked with public health, therefore, I believe that the need to reshape our food industry is more relevant than ever before. My goal is to contribute to this ongoing reshaping, which I believe that, in a nutshell, should aim to readjust industrialized food production to better compel with Mediterranean Diet. To make things even more challenging, this should be performed in a way that accounts the new trends and serves the modern way of living.Based on this mentality, I would love to implement all the theoretical and practical background I 've acquired in order to serve these purposes in the Food Industry, where I strongly believe that large impact can be achieved.
