The Greater Manchester Poverty Commission of 2012-14 advocated for an 'Action Group' to take forwards the Commission's recommendations. I spent 18 months working as Coordinator for what then became 'Greater Manchester Poverty Action'. I worked in communities around Greater Manchester researching and reporting on the experiences of people living with.

I spent three years with UNEP (the United Nations Environment Programme) making a contribution to several projects:- I worked in a project coordination and comms support role for the UNEP Inquiry into the Design of a Sustainable Financial System (www.unep.org/inquiry), a two year project under the UN Under Secretary General and Executive Director of UNEP.
