I’ve always looked at life and work as something that goes together: from experiencing different realities, one faces and collects distinctive perspectives and needs, ultimately contributing for continuously fuelling the needed open mindset for innovation and creative approach for problem-solving in this ever-changing world. A few of the many things that define me:- A creative-doer: permanently shifting between thinking forward and making things work.- Portugal, Holland, São Tomé and Príncipe, Venezuela, Belgium and Timor-Leste.- Co-founder at TORKE CC - internationally awarded creative consultancy agency, IDEATORS - Co-Creation Thinking Methodology and CREATIVE YOU - Creative Potential Assessment Tool.- Co-creation expert and trainer: because no one is better than the sum of us.- Guest teacher at Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2019) and IADE Universidade Europeia (2020). - Master in Experience Design (NL) and PhD candidate (PT), exploring the interconnection between Organisational Change and Design.- A serious crush on Social Innovation and impact: from creating blindfolded walking tours led by blind guides in Lisbon, to blending technology with crafts in São Tomé, assessing Cape Verde's handicrafts sector to feed a 3-year strategy, and setting a training program in The Gambia to improve local products aiming to reach the E.U. market, among other initiatives.- Juror & mentor: occasionally and with pleasure, in creativity and social entrepreneurship contexts. - Podcast nerd: Of the worst kind. So, it’s not really “always”, I know.- I’ll fail: I’m tired of all the perfectly-polished BS profiles and stories. Failure is as much part of success, as clichés are part of this sentence. I’ve failed before and I’ll fail again. I’ll also continue moving, learning and pushing myself and others. And that is also why, together, we'll reach incredible results.
