Following the completion of a Graphic Design Diploma in 2008 from The Southbank Institute of technology, I launched my own freelance design business, where I gained valuable experience in fast-paced client management. I managed my own business, Pearce Jacobs Design, for six years with clients including McDonald’s Australia, Eureka Street Furniture, Schoolies Week and Bundaberg Brewed Drinks. During this time I developed excellent time management skills, financial skills and attention to detail, and honed my ability to create and present a wide range of suitable design options to clients and accept and implement their feedback.

In my role as Senior Graphic Designer at education provider Careers Australia, I created large expanding projects such as the domestic course guide for the company, implemented social media campaigns such as the New Year Resolutions campaign, media and a number of other internal marketing campaigns. In this position I was required to liaise with the Mens Head Graphic Designer regarding the creation of product imagery and was required to produce the high quality graphic art in a timely manner.
