The Operational Change Team forms part of Growth Operations at Tyro. In my role managing this team, I am accountable for:- Developing and implementing the team strategy, aligned with the broader Growth Team strategy- Successful project delivery, alongside key stakeholders across the business. Primarily this involves ensuring there is adequate documentation and thorough change management for the Growth Team. Overall, our role is to assist with driving organisational readiness, with a strong customer focus- The maintenance of Tyro’s internal and external knowledge bases- Assisting with Process Improvement across the broader Growth Team to improve the customer experience and maximise staff efficiency- Risk identification and mitigation underpinning all new projects and updated processes

This involves leaning heavily on my organisational and strategic planning skills to plan events (both online & in-person) from conception to execution.

Leading the Customer Solutions Team means overall accountability for certain in-life requests Tyro provides its customers. This includes complaints (IDR and EDR), collections, asset returns, pricing reviews, social media and email enquiries, and general administration tasks that are associated with the above. Whilst running and maintaining a high performing team, successful risk mitigation is also critical to ensure both our regulatory and performance metrics are met. Our team works closely with the other functions that support our customers and prospects within the broader Customer team at Tyro.

Leading the Health Customer Success and Customer Administration teams at Tyro. These responsibilities can be summarised to:- Leading the team accountable for the retention, cross-sell and servicing of Tyro’s Health customers- Overseeing the administration function that supports the Customer Success Managers with customer onboarding, pricing reviews and general in-life admin requests

In 2018 I transitioned to (solely) a Team Lead position. Tasks for this role include hiring new staff, training, coaching, and being a first point of escalation (including complaints handling). I also represent my teams to provide input when reviewing procedures for improvements or changes within the business. I work on strategy with the Head of Account Management and other Team Leads, and liaise with other key stakeholders across the business for a variety of projects.

After 2 years as an Account Manager at Tyro, I became the Key Account Manager for Health. This role was to build, develop and maintain relationships with Tyro’s large merchants in the Health industry. I worked with a variety of merchants including medical practices, doctors and hospitals on a corporate and site level.Alongside this role, I also became one of the Team Leads in Account Management. This saw me leading the other Health Account Managers as well as a newly formed Account Administration team. Tasks for this role included hiring new staff, training, coaching, and being a first point of escalation (including for complaints handling).
