Wrote and developed content for SparkTop.org, an award-winning, multimedia website for kids ages 8-12 with learning disabilities and AD/HD, mentored students with learning difficulties through the use of online characters and personalities.

Developed interactive, engaging content and marketing materials for SparkTop.org, wrote classroom materials and teacher guides for use with SparkTop.org, played key role in shaping and maintaining a nurturing, supportive online community, worked closely with a cross-functional team (Art, Marketing, and Technical) in all aspects of website development and maintenance.

Designed and implemented teacher workshops and events on Asian art and culture. Wrote accompanying background information, lesson plans, and classroom materials, managed the museum’s K-12 school programs on Asian art and culture, planned and managed annual school programs budget, negotiated and oversaw the work of outside vendors for teacher workshops.

Developed, wrote, and copyedited lessons for the high school and junior college levels, collaborated with team members in manuscript review, design, and publishing, designed website for K-14 lessons on the culture and history of Asia.

Wrote and researched math, language arts, science, and social studies lessons for Project Zone, an online curricular resource for 3rd-6th grade classrooms, collaborated with programmers, editors, and producers on curricular content and graphic design, developed teacher materials on lesson preparation and student assessment.

Taught English, basic health, and environmental awareness in rural areas of Thailand, trained primary and secondary teachers on effective teaching strategies, published a training manual on American cultural diversity for Thai classrooms, taught new Peace Corps volunteers on English teaching and cross-cultural issues.
