Worked with the political director, and in conjunction with numerous other environmental organizations, coordinating a large-scale lobbying effort in support of the Maine Environmental Priorities Coalition’s legislative priorities. Additionally, together with the advocacy coordinator, established a grassroots organization of activists throughout the state of Maine to hold legislators accountable and elect environmental champions.

Richmond, Virginia Area

Recruited, trained, and supervised 400 volunteers that registered 800 voters, made 50,000 phone calls, and knocked 5,000 doors as part of Hillary Clinton’s successful Virginia campaign. Executed Get-Out-The-Vote efforts in 3 separate counties, including canvassing and phone banking events in rural communities to increase voter turnout. Managed a highly digital organizing campaign to engage volunteers through the creation of digital content that generated grassroots enthusiasm. Worked extensively with VAN to support a data-driven and metric-based program, ensured data quality, cut turf, and created virtual phone banks.
