Oversees the South Davis Community Hospital infection prevention and quality improvement programs. This includes identifying, creating, and deploying action plans, monitoring for improvement, HAI prevention, employee health, and overseeing quality improvement initiatives. Lead writer and project manager of AHCA and Baldrige Quality Award applications.

Responsible for overseeing the campus infection control program, employee health program, and assisting in the campus staff education program. Participates as a member of the Utilization Review Committee. Assists the Chief Nursing Officer with other duties as requested, including but not limited to areas related to emergency preparedness and supervising nursing staff.

Responsible for completing all quality improvement and assurance projects related to the nursing department. Accountable for working with department managers in creating and executing quality improvement projects and monitoring that each department maintains compliance with identified regulations. Responsible for initiating the organizations participation in the Utah Best of State Program, which has resulted in the receipt of five Best of State Awards. Oversees the writing of additional award applications relating to quality, including the American Health Care Association Bronze Award (2009), Silver Award (2012), and Gold Award (2014).

Responsible for managing and mentoring certified nurse assistants and other nursing staff, organizing assisted living level care for residents, completing assessments, and coordinating services with family members, doctors, and other ancillary providers. Accountable for piloting multiple programs aimed at increasing the quality of life experienced by residents. Redesigned campus medication technician training program.

Responsible for providing nursing care to skilled Alzheimer patients by managing patient care, medication administration, dressing changes, and behavioral interventions.
