Urbint is focused on solutions applied to infrastructural assets using AI/ML models to evaluate, predict and mitigate risk factors when work occurs on those areas.I've worked on Damage Prevention project which is a platform used by Utility companies to manage excavations happening in their occupation area where their locators need to do an inspection before the work starts. Using AI and ML models to evaluate each excavation location risk, it gives the users insights of the excavation's priority, potential vulnerabilities and other risk factors.My role (Backend Engineer):• Developed and maintained product features: - Django Application - API (Django Rest Framework) - Django Admin for some backoffice configurations - Other isolated services (Django small apps or just management commands) to perform data processing (interact with external services, communicate using Kafka, etc)• Worked with product team and management to better understand the client needs, discuss possible solutions and alert for potential problems.
