As a healthcare data analyst at Outcomes Research Lab - IPO Porto, I contributed to creating value for the patient by generating knowledge in the areas of cost, effectiveness, and safety of health technologies. I applied my skills in data analysis, real-world evidence and health economics and outcomes research studies, to support the evaluation of the real-world outcomes of neoadjuvant therapy with Trastuzumab and Pertuzumab in HER2+ early breast cancer patients. Thanks to this experience, I gained insights into the clinical and economic aspects of oncology and the impact of innovation on healthcare systems.I am passionate about learning and exploring new technologies that can enhance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. As part of my academic journey, I had the opportunity to study at Ghent University for six months, where I conducted research on the mechanism of action of phage lysin modules in the Laboratory of Applied Biotechnology. This exchange program enriched my knowledge and skills in biotechnology and molecular biology, as well as my intercultural and interpersonal competencies.
