I'm a sports lover and so I have been practicing Modern Pentathlon since I was 7 and I started competing at high level since I was 15/16 years old. I have been National Champion 9 times and I represent the Portuguese National Team in European Championships, World Championships, World Cups, among other international events.Modern Pentathlon is a very complicated and demanding sport, due to the multiple disciplines it integrates (Shooting, Swimming, Fencing, Riding and Running), the variability of places for its practice and training time that each requires, totaling about 4 to 5 hours of daily dedication. Being also a student at a demanding faculty like Nova SBE, the effort required is substantially higher. The fact that, from an early age, I’ve participated in international competitions and become acquainted with people of various cultures and customs, helped me to achieve easily a good level of English and also in the process of following the courses at Nova SBE that are taught in English.Being an athlete and student for many years makes me a very hardworking, committed and determined person. From an early age I made a point of taking my Management course in Nova, because it is a demanding and recognized Faculty. I fought for it, worked for it and got it. I strongly believe that taking my Master's degree at Nova SBE gave me greater skills for my future professional life and will also make me realize another dream: the representation of my country at the Olympic Games.
