Pedro is graduated in Modern Languages and Literature with a post-graduation diploma in Arts Marketing and Managing. He has been working in theatre since he was 14 years old: mainly as an actor and producer in projects for children, young people and families with well know companies in Portugal as Almada Theatre Company and others. From 2009 to 2013, he was Artistic and Executive Director of Joaquim d'Almeida Theatre in Lisbon and Member of the Board of Karnart (Performance and Installation Artistic Company). In 2013, he moved to London where he is finishing his studies at Royal Central School in the MA Applied Theatre with Communities and Drama Education. Since then, he has been working with theatre with communities: Brixton at Brixton Bloc, Transgender at Spectrum, Young people from Hong Kong at LAMDA and Homeless at Cardboard Citizens. Pedro was Assistant Director of Rob Watt in his Direction of Goosebumps Kids at The Vaults, in Waterloo and one of the official artists of the Cultural Citizens Programme of London (New Direction/ Studio3Arts. Pedro also worked as Project Manager of DreamArts Experiment Youth Arts Company and as researcher for academic projects.
