• Support Simultaneous Engineering activities: samples assessment to ensure that the products are according the guidelines (PRE’s and PRP’s), updating Device Assembly Specifications (using NX Unigraphics and Office tools) and ECR technical support;• Support the implementation of a new Central Directive Quality at Braga’s plant related to the reduction of internal defect costs. Meetings were scheduled with the purpose of solving problems having the input of multidisciplinary teams, to follow up ongoing updates and to ensure that the time schedule was being fulfilled;• Development of a methodology to calculate the allocation of a worker to a certain project, which is intended for use by several engineering teams. Initially, relevant data was collected from all ongoing projects (e.g., parts and processes present) and a decision tree created. Based on this, an userform and several macros were developed in Excel VBA.
