• Honors Living-Learning Community (HLLC) at Rutgers University–Newark (RU-N) is preparing students to tackle the world’s most pressing problems – poverty, stagnant socioeconomic mobility, discrimination, scientific illiteracy, and health disparities to name a few.• HLLC is an innovative RU-N initiative that is revolutionizing the notion of “honors” by creating intergenerational and interdisciplinary learning communities comprised of students, faculty, and community partners focused on tackling some of the nation’s most pressing social issues.• Being an HLLC Scholar has made me more aware and has given me the desire to be a positive change agent; changing my community today and the world tomorrow.

• Oversee 50+ client accounts weekly and prepare marketable commercial designs per client’s request.• Consult with clients to discuss commercial project designs and further ideation for client satisfaction.• Record and follow up on outstanding accounts receivables, orders, and inventory to better reach company objectives.• Train and direct office activity of junior employees to promote efficiency in the work place • Utilize EPILOG LASER precisely for the engraving of several textiles (i.e. wood, glass, leather, acrylic, aluminum).

The Braven Accelerator is a foundational course designed to begin preparing students for the increasingly competitive, globalized job marketplace. Through online and peer learning, interactive experiences, reflection, and programming following the course, Fellows build meaningful networks, discover their innate leadership, and cultivate the “hard” and “soft” skills and habits of mind needed to thrive in twenty-first century workplaces and make positive impact through their careers after graduation.
