Charged with the positioning, tracking, general over sight, and accurate targeting information for 9 rocket/missile launchers and 3 smaller platoon level fire direction centers. Operations also included ammunition inventories, unit movement, battlefield tracking, security planning, digital communications establishment, and personnel health and welfare. This position was reserved for Master Sergeants due to its immense responsibility and sheer size of the operation. None the less it was awarded to me as a Sergeant, three ranks below the Army requirement to my professionalism, accomplishments and technical knowledge.
