Responsibilities:- Conducted research and development for industrial automation projects.- Took charge of various technical decisions regarding the development of an electrial coffee bean sorter, including the selection of microcontrollers and light sensors and led the overall planning of the machine electronics.- Served as the lead developer responsible for coding the C/C++softwares for the microcontrollers.- Implemented an I2C-based network of microcontrollers for classifiers with more than one sorting line.- Created a Human-Machine interface for the operational configuration and the fine tunning of classification parameters for the coffee bean sorted machine, coded in National Instruments' LabVIEW visual programming language.- Deployed automation systems for industrial application, such as volume and weight measurement for diverse products like milk/coffee/butter aswel as SCADA systems for plant floor monitoring and production control.
