Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1994 from the University of Coimbra. I attended a MBA in Business Management at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra in 2004. From 1997 onwards and for 15 years I developed a career in the Industrial area. First in the area of pulp and paper production as responsible for production. Then in the area of alternative energies as Industrial Director of a wood pellet production unit. In this last role, I was in charge of the construction and licensing of the industrial unit and the organization of all areas from commercial to production, including human resources, procurement and maintenance. From 2012 to 2018 I played the role of Sales Account Manager in an American Multinational in the area of Chemicals for the Pulp and Paper Industry, where I was able to develop customer contact and follow-up skills. In 2018 I made a round the world travel as a family with 3 children under 12 years old. A unique adventure in terms of organization and resource management. In 2020 I returned to the production area as head of the plastics extrusion section. I have professional experience in industrial coordination, leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams in a factory floor environment. I am fluent in English and have good knowledge of Spanish and understanding of French. I have mastery of several computer tools both from the user's point of view and in terms of programming. In recent years, I developed skills in data analysis, machine learning and project management. I recently obtained Google Certification in the area of data analysis and I am attending online training to obtain a Google Certificate in the area of project management.
