Product Manager
Current- Work with Executive Team to achieve and report the goals, objectives and standards of the organization- Supply leadership team with analysis and reporting on trends, product sales and inventory- Identify key goods that contribute to bulk sales and optimize strategies to increase revenue- Coordinate between Procurement and Pricing departments on freight, cost and sales price strategies to maximize margin gains while maintaining a competitive advantage- Manage product lifecycle process, including: ~ Analyzing slow-moving series to determine exit strategies ~ Communicating with pricing and procurement on sale prices and replenishment changes- With VP of Products, manage and execute product launches, including:~ Creating marketing, pricing and sales strategies~ Placing opening orders with vendors~ Communicating with Marketing, Samples, Pricing and Procurement groups on key area.- With VP of Products, train all selling groups on new products and updates, including coordinating vendor training and promotional events- Update sales tools to internal groups as needed, including samples, showroom displays, marketing tools and promotional materials- Manage communication on price increases, packing changes, product updates, and discontinuations to all necessary groups- With VP of Products, scot new product and vendor opportunities that support the selling strategies of the company including:~ Reviewing all vendor product launches~ Attending seminars, events and trade shows as needed~ Keeping informed of competitor product launches, customer needs, design trends, industry updates, technological advancements and TCNA regulations- With VP of Products, source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors, including:~ Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms~ Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going success~ Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers
