As an accounting manager, I have been in charge of the accounting records of all the Middle East region, with the main responsibilities:- Monthly analysis of reporting packages and its main records to ensure their compliance with the accounting framework followed by the group (IFRS).- Maintain proper reconciliation between statutory accounts and group accounts.- Prepare local and group financial statements for audit purposes.- Perform reconciliations between the accounting figures and the business, in order to guarantee the correct forecast analysis.- Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures, and complying with financial legal requirements.- Completing special projects in order to improve SAP controls and automations.

During the time in KPMG, my main responsibilities were:- Analysis and audit Financial Statements in different frameworks, such as SNC, IFRS and PCA.- Monitor internal control procedures in several clients, by identify key risks, recognize key controls and conducting design testing and operational implementation.- Develop audit projects in different industries, such as Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Retail (food and beverage).- International project in Angola, with major relevance to GE Angola.- Risk management assessment during the acceptance of a new or recurrent client.- Prepare and control the budget for each project.
