- Build and assembly prototype wiring harnesses based on mechanical, electrical or pneumatic schematic drawings.- Building tests boxes for testing prototype harnesses as well as units. Carry over the testing with Engineering department. - Troubleshooting prototype designs for future changes on the schematics.- Usage of hand tools as well as equipment to manufacture any piece need to complete the prototype.

SAYPE SAS is a contractor, which, provides services to a multinational company called Owens-Illinois (Producer of glass products). My functions in the company were: • Supervised subcontractors and employees to improve production and ensure deadlines were met.• Recommended improvements and standardizations by analysing time to execute a task and effective ways to enhance previous processes.• Wrote documentation that would be used and requested by the person in charge. Reports were given at the end of each task.• Determined any major alterations to the project that could affect cost, completion date and customer relationship.• Identified root cause and delivered recommendations that would alleviate future issues and failures. • Managed the team in troubleshooting efforts that alleviated errors.Project: Construction of two medium-sized furnaces to JADESI SAS. JADESI SAS, is a Colombian company that manufactures a product by combining specific components in a furnace. At that time, the company was in an expansion process in which SAYPE SAS had the opportunity to be involved in. The project consisted in enlarging one existing small furnace and turning into a medium-sized one. Additionally, was built all the refractory part of a second furnace.The tasks that I performed in that project were:• Supervised a team of 20 people to demolish and construct specific structures based on the customer requirements and ensure deadlines were met.• Designed 3D models that displays the process step by step and present 2D drawings for particular assemblies or pieces.• Assessed construction techniques and troubleshooting processes to foster consistent development.• Uncovered issues that could arise as a result of the modifications of the previous buildings and provided effective solutions to avoid longer delays.
