Conservation Metrics is revolutionizing ecological monitoring by automating historically labor-intensive wildlife survey efforts to increase data analysis efficiency and project scale. For each project I led, I analyzed terabytes of acoustic and/or image data collected all over the world using machine learning and advanced statistical techniques to produce species population estimates, rare or novel species detection summaries, and recommendations for conservation action. I also developed research questions and designed studies, created and optimized automated workflow processes, and implemented new analysis techniques to robustly address unique datasets.I utilized tools and softwares including R, MATLAB, JAGS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Access, and Python.
