2010Responsible for the major information technology project management activities throughout the Town of Castle RockProjects include

Directly responsible for the development, management, reporting and presentation of the Public Works, Street Division operating and capital budget, $43 million annually. Responsibilities to include management of accounting, ensuring timely and accurate completion of annual audit and financial reports in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. Accurate business planning and forecasting to include strategic planning and decision making through the analysis, presentation and distribution of relevant and timely information compiled for and distributed to city management.Project management responsibilities to include: Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), Road Weather Information System (RWIS), Pavement Management Application (PMA).

Provide internal consulting services to the City of Colorado Springs. Responsible for working directly with all departments throughout the City to identify, assess and implement work practices, procedures and/or technology to provide additional efficiencies and effectiveness in the work environment for the 2,200+ employees. The following are a few of the projects that I have completed:Clarify, Constituent Relationship Management (CRM): Co-leader in the communications, training and implementation of Clarify throughout the entire City of Colorado Springs.City Engineering, Staffing Assessment: Completed an internal assessment and audit of the staffing needs for the City of Colorado Springs City Engineering Unit, 30+ employees. The assessment entailed intimate and detailed discussions with the core management City Engineering employees, as well as researching nationwide the ways and manners in which other public and private entities addressed their staffing needs. City Planning, Development Review Enterprise: Project lead in the assessment and development of a self-sustaining development review group.

Researched, planned and facilitated the implementation of major information technology projects throughout the eight state territories. Activities included communications such as state pre-implementation meetings, company-wide employee educational presentations and post-implementation follow-up meetings with management and front-line employees, as well as the organization, scheduling and training of multiple states/employees to ensure a high level of understanding and acceptance upon completion of the project. Direct involvement in the implementation of the projects listed below have allowed for direct hands-on of the applications and therefore a thorough understanding of the systems and the customers wants and needs

Acted as Manager of all customer service activities for Peoples Natural Gas. Responsibilities included the direct supervision of the all departments: customer service, appliance service, meter reading and utility operations. Responsible for the planning, preparation, allocation and adherence to annual Operations and Maintenance budget equaling $500K and Capital budget equaling $1.5mil. Key points to be addressed included the identifying and implementing of work force/equipment efficiencies and generation of revenue enhancing practices and procedures.Facilitated the up front development and continuation of a productive relationship between Peoples Natural Gas and the various city governments, home owners associations and developer entities. This lead to pro-active communications that allowed for major projects to be coordinated jointly to allow for efficiencies with work forces and equipment.Responsible for the supervision/budget management of the administrative services contracts
