Origami Cranes are transformed in my Cranespace Studio. With experimentation and the folding of unusual papers… suddenly a crane is born with its own unique personality.Each crane is a colorful ornament– graceful and often glamorous. I enjoy Using high quality Japanese washi paper, scrapbook paper and many recycled books, atalas’, catalogs and sheet music.I am constantly challenged to fold all types of paper and create new crane styles every year. Crane folding as an art is a constant challenge for me. Designing these beaded cranes allows me to express my love of color. I find there are endless combinations of paper and beads. Every ornament or string of 7 lucky cranes is unique – there are no 2 alike!“
