Supervise field tax staff responsible for auditing payroll/financial records, collecting Unemployment Insurance wage reports and taxes and interpreting and enforcing the laws, rules and regulations relating to Unemployment Insurance and the employment of minors. Performed audits of employers' payroll and financial records to ensure employers were in compliance with the Georgia Employment Security Law. Collected employers' Unemployment Insurance quarterly tax and wage reportts pursuant to OCGA 34-8-165. Collected Unemployment Insurance taxes due through due process pursuant to UI Policies and Procedures. Provided compreshensive information to employers and the general public regarding Georgia Employment Security Laws and Regulations via verbal and written communication.

Applied incoming payments of members purchasing additional service and posted purchased service to members' accounts. Provided quality customer service and refund payroll support to over 250,000 members of the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia. Performed due process in obtaining additional information from members in regard to processing refund requests. Analyzed financial accounts and work history of withdrawing members annually to determine eligibility for refund of accumulated contributions. Provided members with comprehensive information regarding Federal and State tax liabilities and the loss of future retirement benefits.
