Responsibilities:• Liaison with program partners, consultants, volunteers and ophthalmologists• Representing and promoting the organization, its vision, mission and objectives• Fundraising and financial managementProjects developed for DFI:• Design, implementation and development of eye surgery projects in Lebanon, Syria and Yemen. Pre-screening, pre-surgery, surgery and post-surgery were part of all 5-day intensive projects that where held every 6 months. Economic value €150,000 per projectIn the period 2005 to 2012 approximately 800 surgeries were performed.In refugee camp (23.000 inhabitants) in Beirut, Lebanon:• Design, implementation and development of a vocational training program with 40 students per year.• Development of a skills improvement program with over 30 young children a year participating. • Development of a shelter renovation program with 4 shelters per year rehabilitated. • Design, implementation and development of a financial adoption program for 125 children per year.

• The intercultural study further shaped my ability to work with and communicate constructively in various cultural environments• During these three years, I developed and put into operation, a fundraising system that has provided a stable income during the years that I have lived and worked in Lebanon
