IT Conssultant.

Digital Transformation Consultant. I make available to companies my experiences in business management and in the IT sector gained in over 30 years in industry, production, banking, healthcare, software development, as well as in the innovative startup sector as a founder.

Finally the business project I had been aiming for a long time.After the loss of work at the beginning of 2017, I worked full-time on the development of this project, which finally saw the light in July 2019, after about two years of incubation totally at my expense, both financially and in terms of time.The core of the startup is the development of multimedia contents of Virtual, Mixed and Augmented Reality (VR, MR and AR) and artificial intelligence applications applied to different sectors, including health, industry, education, just to name a few some. I have been involved in all the phases of the project: from product design, through market audits and economic / financial planning to design and development, composing the production team. I also faced and successfully completed due diligence processes and the startup has now reached the seed stage.

The years of maturity as a senior developer analyst and team manager in the ERP, payroll, industry, banking within large IT companies and the degree course: from 1998 to 2017.In chronological order I was engaged in METISOFT SpA (At that time SIM srl) in the Marche region, in TAS GROUP SpA (initially NCH SpA) in Bologna and TEAMSYSTEM SpA in the Ancona area.Thanks to the experience gained in previous years I worked as an analyst and team manager, according to production needs, directly managing the customer starting from the initial phase (study of the problem, analysis of the requirements), passing through the project management (analysis and implementation), up to installation and start-up with consequent support, especially in the critical phases immediately following start-up.The peculiarity of the banking sector, especially with regard to interbank networks, is that it is one of those realities defined as "mission critical" in which any anomalies must be resolved almost in real time to avoid blocking the international interbank network. The criticality of the environment stemmed from the complexity of the problems to be faced and from the fact that we worked with very heterogeneous groups in two aspects: from the point of view of the geographical distribution (normally the work teams were spread over at least two geographical locations, in addition to the work group at the customer that was located in another city) and from a technological point of view since these groups were composed of human resources that worked with profoundly different technologies (and methodologies), typically mainframes on the server side and windows / linux on the client side.At the end of this period, I also started as a university student in computer science at the University of Camerino (UNICAM); this was interrupted and resumed twice to give priority to work commitments from time to time. I have three exams since graduation.

I have been involved in the management of complex IT systems, taking care of the integration on different technological worlds (Personal computer, AS / 400, Mainframe IBM ESA / 390). Since we were in the first half of the 90s, this type of activity was rather complex because only at that time did a real pushed integration of the above mentioned hardware and software systems begin. The work at that time consisted of participating in migration of computer systems, development of new management systems and implementation of software systems in the industrial or management area (eg ACG of IBM). I worked in banks like Cassa di Risparmio di Macerata (more later BANCA DELLE MARCHE and now UBI BANCA) and Cassa Risparmio di Ascoli Piceno, I participated in projects for the Merloni industrial group, I worked with IT companies also at national level IBM partners and IT groups like IPACRI. IPACRI in those years was one of the major IT realities in Italy in the banking world. I was involved as information systems manager in the Volplast of Ascoli Piceno, a company producing plastic film for packaging. In this context, my function was to restructure the computer system (at the time based on an IBM AS / 400 with ACG IBM on the management side). To carry out this task, I had to maintain relations with the companies that provide IT services and collaborate with the internal offices to identify the related needs and obtain the right means from suppliers to satisfy them. I actively participated in the creation of the management control system, acting as a controller, collaborating with professional management firms and developing the software infrastructure to achieve this goal. This allowed me to deepen my knowledge of business management issues.

After an initial period dedicated to training and education both in the IT and accounting fields (necessary to master the management and tax world), I started a career as a programmer and analyst. During these years I have been involved in the field of management accounting and payroll applications working for IT companies and tax and labor consultancy firms. The main companies in which I worked are: SIME COMMERCIALE SpA. which was a company selling electrical and building materials with branches between Marche and Abruzzo, SELDA snc. IT company whose core business is the development and dissemination of ERP and HR management software.
