Penny is currently working in IT&DA’s Corporate Functions & Systems organization fulfilling the role of IT Product Manager for GES (Global Enterprise Sustainability). In addition to her GES IT Product Manager responsibilities Penny also holds the role of lead Business Capability Architect for the One Boeing Capability Map (OBCM). In this role Penny is responsible for growing and maturing Boeing’s Business Capabilities through use of the One Boeing Capability Map (OBCM), providing business capability SME consulting, and content oversight of the One Boeing Capability Map (OBCM). Prior to this role Penny also filled the role of Business Architect for Boeing Corporate, Enterprise Services, and HR. Other Boeing roles include Product Data Management specialist supporting Boeing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Engineering Operations and Project Manager for Boeing Wichita Divestiture and Boeing South Carolina Get to Common – supporting Boeing PLM Engineering Operations organization. Prior to Boeing, Penny’s career included active-duty Military and Project Manager for Department of Defense Night Vision Research & Development, and US Army Recruiting Command. In addition to her military career and government contracting experience with the DOD, Penny also has industry experience working with Honeywell supporting their Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS). Penny has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and received her Certificate in Architecture and Systems Engineering from MIT in 2017 and SAFE Certification as a Scrum Master and Release Train Engineer in 2019.Beyond her professional endeavors, Penny is a passionate advocate for causes close to her heart. Besides cherishing her family, she actively supports and is a former volunteer at LittleBit Therapeutic Riding Center and Save a Forgotten Equine (SAFE).
