The DevOps department of FRISS is developing a platform to predict and detect insurance fraud. This is in real-time done by a combination of the predication power of Artificial Intelligence/Machine learning and the pragmatic power of expert rules and external data sources. As a team manager I build the teams working on this solution, growing from 2 to 6 teams. With the teams we have started a DevOps transition based on the cloud technology of Microsoft Azure. FRISS is on a mission to bring Honest Insurance on a global scale (let me know if you're curious how!). FRISS offers three products in the market that cover the different stages of anti-fraud strategy (predict, detect & respond). As Product Manager FRISS Platform I'm responsible for the technical roadmap of the platform where these products are built upon. In this time, we started the transition to a modern micro-services architecture that can leverage the power of Microsoft Azure Cloud. Artificial Intelligence/Machine learning is an important part of the scoring mechanism for our products, planned a new design for real-time integration of fraud models which are automatically retrained on the new data (ML Ops). With all the innovations in the tech-industry it's about translating the buzzwords to hands-on improvements and make sure our solution adds more value every sprint.

As a BI Consultant I've worked hands-on in the different stages of setting up data warehouses and implementing reports. I mainly worked on Oracle technology, designing and implementing data warehouses and data vault, including the necessary ETL. Designed web-applications using PL/SQL and Oracle Apex.
