About Per Edström
I am into strategy development, and I want to see a well-working Swedish circular bioeconomy during my lifetime. I support an industrial way to a Swedish circular bioeconomy. New cross-sector cooperation will increase the added value in the Swedish biobased sector and the competitiveness of Swedish regions and enterprises.I am into applied scientific computing. I like the challenges that come with solving real world problems fast and accurately on cheap computers. I do this by including modern scientific computing in the solution methods, combined with a deep knowledge of the underlying physical problem. I do simulations and modelling, and I like problems that are both academically challenging and industrially relevant. I have spent some time studying the radiative transfer problem, and have developed advanced simulation tools for light scattering in paper and print.Specialties: strategy development, bioeconomy, forest industry, forestry, research, scientific computing, applied mathematics, computational physics, simulation, modelling, materials science, light scattering, paper optics, paper
