From February 2018 to September 2020, I was the work environment representative at The Animation Workshop, VIA University College, elected by the staff. From 2020, I represented TAW in the local collaboration committee (Lokaludvalg) for the Storytelling, Design & Business programs.

Professional Training was the department of The Animation Workshop, VIA University College that organized semester courses, workshops, and masterclasses designed for predominantly the European animation industry. Professional Training is now merged with other activities into the department Talent & Skills Development, from April 2020.I was responsible for running 3 semester courses as project manager and coordinator:• 3D Character Animation, 17 weeks (2011-2023)• Visual Effects, 17 weeks (2013-2021)• Houdini & Simulation for Film and Games, 12 weeks (2019-2023)In addition, I was involved in setting up several other professional training activities such as AniDox:Lab, Houdini masterclasses etc. Tasks ranged from fundraising, assembling and writing EU applications and reports, compiling and developing course curricula, booking guest teachers, reviewing applications, and guiding applicants, to conducting class meetings, organizing social events, following up with former participants etc.Previous courses that I have organized include 3D Art courses, two 2-week masterclasses in Concept Design and Animation Production, two character design courses for the development department at LEGO System A/S in Billund, Denmark in 2011 and 2012, and a Houdini masterclass for Ubisoft Stockholm.

Open Workshop is an artist residency and film workshop for the development and production of animation related art such as feature films, short films, TV series, graphic novels, music videos etc. with the general objective to develope the audiovisual talent in Denmark. The position entailed: Coordination of daily activities, organizing events, workshops, and meetings, consulting on project development, budgets and scheduling, managing projects within OW such as Viz-Labs, delegating tasks and supervising interns and assistants, trips abroad to attend festivals and seminars, writing applications and reports, setting up exhibitions, and communication through social media. I also organised a 10-month incubation program in collaboration with the company cluster Arsenalet and Shareplay which ran from August 2013 to June 2014. I was involved in setting up a shorter incubation program running in 2014/2015 with the same partners.

From May 2010 to July 2013, I also worked as a Shareplay agent in the Viborg area. Shareplay was a business development venture launched by the Central Denmark Region and the North Denmark region in collaboration with the four consortium partners Bretteville Hotspot in Aalborg, Filmby Aarhus, and Alexandra Instituttet in Aarhus, and The Animation Workshop in Viborg. Shareplay was about business development, in particular the development of the audiovisual companies in the two regions by matchmaking, communication, networking, courses and development of competences. The position entailed guiding applicants (media companies) in the application process for the Shareplay fund, marketing of Shareplay, practical execution of strategic projects, workshops, seminars in Viborg and in collaboration with the other Shareplay players.
