Duties include but not limited to: training, scheduling, supervising and evaluating a 10-member nursing staff….assessing, evaluating, implementing, assigning and documenting nursing care of patients….working with physicians and health care.

Upon assumption of position the formulation and implementation of an orientation program. Duties included but were not limited to: initial drug screen, criminal background processing and follow-up….initial employee orientation to the facility and policies….ongoing employee in-service education to maintain a level of knowledge so to demonstrate competence.

Responsible for providing nursing management and direct patient care in a variety of temporary assignments for a nursing registry during winter months. Experience included working in Psychiatric, Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Re-hab, Homecare, AIDS Units and using ventilators for TB patients, using central line catheters, PICC lines, landmark access IV’s.
