I´m working for the World Benchmarking Alliance as the Research Lead for the Finance system benchmarking. https://www.linkedin.com/company/world-benchmarking-alliance/Founded in 2018, WBA is a young and aspirational, yet well established, civil society organization focused on driving corporate accountability to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In my present role, I have the opportunity to learn about a sector whose transformation is key to achieve the SDGs.With my private sector background, the accountability perspective resonates with me. Many companies already work hard on their sustainability journeys - but to increase ambitions further and scale out beyond the leaders and the current focus areas, will demand all actors to get involved and to be held accountable for their sustainability performance.As a principal researcher at Ericsson Research, I had the opportunity to research and standardize the assessment of direct and indirect impacts of the ICT sector. This has taught me the importance of methodological rigor and transparency, and the complexity of sectors – to see both opportunities and risks across topics like climate and planetary boundaries impacts, circular economy, smart sustainable cities and digital inclusion.Working for Ericsson, I had many opportunities to engage in different international initiatives including stand ardization activities in ITU, ETSI and ISO/SIS.
