I coded and analyzed interview findings from 25 interviews regarding President and Chancellor retention rates in community colleges across the state of California. I co-authored a report for the Community College League of California regarding these findings and recommendations.I provided background research for virtual site visits to rural community colleges for a client project on student success in rural areas. I aided in business development by organizing paper work and necessary certifications for grant applications and other administrative work as needed. I also prepared documents for new employee onboarding.

I was pleased to accept a position as a short term consultant during the fall semester of 2021. I continued the work from my time as a research analyst during a summer internship.

I assisted the Family Law team collect and analyze data on laws and regulations that affect women’s economic inclusion in 190 economies for the Women, Business and the Law 2022 Report. I was responsible for 20 economies, including out reach efforts, multilingual research, and coding findings in the organization's database. I translated documents between French and English for government correspondences.

I focused on community outreach for wildlife and wild lands preservation. I facilitated and organized meetings with community members to discuss the issues they cared about. I also worked to pass the Wildlife Crossings Ballot Measure through phone banking, canvassing, and organizing volunteers.

Sincelejo, Colombia

Sembrandopaz is a grassroots organization working for peace and reconciliation in the Northern Caribbean region of Colombia. As an intern I worked with the Political Culture team, Women's Empowerment, and the Sustainable Development team. I wrote articles for the organization's online blog, facilitated community meetings, helped organize a seed exchange between communities as well as a local market.

Boulder, Colorado

I was a community organizer for Boulder's green energy initiative to municipalize the electric utility. Our team passed the ballot measure to separate from Xcel Energy and get the city of Boulder on 100% renewable energy by 2030. I led and trained 20 interns and volunteers in field work: registering voters, speaking in classrooms to hand out information and registering voters, phone banking, canvassing, and led voter registration tables and “Get Out the Vote” tables.

I worked on voter registration and civic engagement on the University of Colorado, Boulder's campus. I engaged with students on local election items and opportunities to testify at the Colorado State Capitol on student debt reform, green energy, and reproductive justice.
