Moved on to a Shift Manager with a higher focus on personnel issues. New training involving rota planning, higher levels of stock analysis and developed a greater understanding of improving pub profits.

Took on the role which allowed me to run the shifts and lead my team within the business. From here a greater responsibility for a range of matters such as staff management, customer management, adherence to legislation and company policy, office administrative roles and pub security.

Trained as a Team Leader which allowed me to develop leadership skills with existing members of my team, develop training skills when taking on new recruits and develop my own personal skills in other areas such as Cellar Management, Kitchen Management and Cash Handling.

Began training on a new kitchen role within the business not long after going full time.Involved working in a very high-paced kitchen with a multitude of responsibilities. Ensuring that myself and the team were following the strictest standards of kitchen cleanliness and safety. All whilst delivering food that was of a very high and consistent quality.

Entered as a part time role to obtain work experience whilst studying for my A-Levels. Involved the day-to-day work of the pub trade, serving drinks and delivering food with a high emphasis on customer service.Developed a strong enjoyment for the role, deferred the opportunity of university and went full time once my A-Levels were completed.
