I have solid leadership competences and a lot of international experience working with cross-cultural teams. I have a strong service mindset and are always ready to go the extra mile to help.For 25 year I have been working within the IT industry in various positions and been working with management for 17 years. The teams have had employees from all over the world and I have learned a lot about different cultures and the importance of respecting and understanding the differences. Due to that the team members have been from many different countries I also have experience with remote/distance management.For 7 years I have been living in Beijing, China as an expatriate where I have acted as the bridge between cultures and ways of working. I also got the task to manage and build up a new team in China that could take over from Denmark and work 24x7x365 within a short deadline.During the 7 years in China the IT department grow from 8 to 80 employees and I have been a part of hiring process for many these employees.I am passionate about good management, which I believe is about building trust, being visible, developing employees, communication, being inclusive and ensure focus on the right goals. I am a strong believer in having regular employee meetings to ensure the right focus and give feedback on the go for the employees so we all know exactly where we are at.
