My main focus at HWT was the checking, processing and payment of expense claims. I was also responsible for the newsagents direct debit and support for 2 other accounts payable staff, including the auditing and procesing of invoices and all associated queries.

my role at CEVA was quite a varied one, from invoice queries, expense claim and invoice processing to full account reconciliation, cashflow and KPI's as well as the expected prompt and main weeklypay runs.

A great place to move on, up or around and learn different parts of the business. Starting as a banking officer, I also learnt some ditribution, import/export, basic credit control and swapped teams towards the end of my time there to fill a maternity leave contract and build my accounts payable profile. the ball was also thrown to me to allow me to learn some basic cashflow and general ledger work. Unfortunately at the end of this secondment my position was made redundant.
