Worked undercover narcotics investigation, throughout the state of Georgia. While assigned to the Local Violator's Squad of the GBI, I worked on street-level to mid-level narcotics investigations. During this period, I was also detached and assigned to work undercover for a federal Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) investigation in the southeastern United States. Finally, I served as a senior Narcotics Agent and served as a Field Training Agent for new Narcotics Agents.

I began my career in law enforcement with the Clarke County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff assigned to the Detention Divison, within 6 months of employment, I was transfered to Patrol, where I continued to serve as a Deputy Sheriff.
