My role as a sports journalist for the Press Association saw me cover the 11 Football League clubs in the South West for the Football 24 desk and the wire.My tasks ranged from detailed on-the-whistle match reports and reaction to breaking news stories and interviews with players and management. I regularly attended press conferences and matches throughout the three divisions as well as FA Cup and League Cup ties. I also covered Premier League matches and international press conferences.Press Association Sport's wide range of clients mean my stories regularly appeared on websites across the world from the Daily Mail to Fox News while I also worked as a sub-editor, delivering content for a wide range of websites and newspapers.I provided editorial for the likes of the official World Cup 2014 book and provided tactical previews for MatchStory and the Press Association wire during the tournament.

The Facebook page was the 21st most popular in the Football League.• The sole contact for all national and local press, I was responsible for official releases, club e-newsletters and running media events such as the weekly press calls.I won a Football League award in November 2010 for the best promotional and marketing campaign for the Coral affiliate scheme. I was also part of the marketing team that won the Football League Award in May 2011 for the best new initiatives for growing matchday attendances.
