Following a four-year tenure as President of J. Kelly & Associates, I purchased all company holdings and obligations from J. Kelly's former CEO and Managing Partner.As CEO, J. Kelly & Associates' primary business purpose has been defined as providing transitioning Advisors with the peace of mind and confidence to ensure them that their decision to change firms was the best they ever made.

J. Kelly & Associates was founded in 2002 as the only known independent provider of full-service on-site transition support for Financial Advisor recruits. Our team of Integration Consultants and Transition Specialists possess years of diverse experience in the Financial Services and Banking industries, as well as focused experience with transitioning books of business as part of the overall integration of Advisors into their new firms.Brought in as a junior partner of the firm, I was responsible for all human resource, operational, and relationship management facets of the company. Still reeling from the crushing blows of the Great Recession, J. Kelly & Associates had experienced major contraction prior to my arrival, and the challenge in front of me was to rebuild the company, recapture some lost client relationships, build up trust within the team's ranks, and to create a more solid and a more recession-proof business model that could weather future fluctuations in the world markets.

Specialize in facilitating Financial Advisor recruit transitions from the competition into Merrill Lynch.Through marketing efforts across the Branch Office Network, coupled with the design and implementation of a multi-phased transition process, I was able to grow a three-person transition team in 2003 to a 30-plus person team in 2010. In 2002, the team facilitated on-site transitions for less than 20 brokers in 12 Branch Office visits, but in 2009, the team provided on-site support for over 350 high-producing Financial Advisors in over 200 Branch Office visits.

Taught two classes per semester with approximately twenty students per class. Courses included Writing and Literature courses for first- and second-year students, as well as Communication courses for Business majors.
