The New York State Association of Computers and Technology in Education (NYSCATE) is a non-profit professional organization representing more than 20,000 technology using educators and administrators throughout New York State. NYSCATE is an affiliate of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and cooperates with such partners as the New York State Education Department, state and national educational organizations, private sector corporations, and publishers to further the use of technology in our schools. NYSCATE is involved in helping define statewide policy regarding technologies in education.

The Lower Hudson Regional Information Center (LHRIC) is a nonprofit consortium providing educational and administrative technology services to 62 school districts in Westchester, Putnam, and Rockland counties. The LHRIC is one of seven centers comprising Southern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services (SW BOCES) and one of 12 Regional Information Centers located throughout New York State. It operates with an annual budget of more than $50 million and employs approximately 175 information technology professionals based in Harrison, NY.

ISI was founded in 1973 with the intent to make learning available to anyone anywhere, at any time. In the early days of personal computers, in the mid-1970’s, ISI worked hard to place personal computers in public schools. In 1989, ISI distributed laptops to New York City housing project residents. There have been many “firsts” in ISI’s history—all have been efforts aimed at using technology to educate those in need. ISI provides the expertise and ingenuity that enables institutions and individuals to meet critical goals and objectives. It is a socially conscious company that uses a multifaceted approach, diverse product offerings, and a highly skilled and dedicated staff to empower our customers and their mission.
