As a visiting Teaching Fellow I will be able to work with new students on the Sports and Exercise courses as a volunteer, I hope to also provide some insight into sports development and coaching through my working experiences. It is also an ambiton to be involved in research where this is possible.

FE Lecturer for the Hitz Program at Leicester Tigers a 16-24 education program for NEET young people re-engaging them into education or preparing them for the workplace using sport as a vehicle. Providing young people with English, Maths and employability skills alongside sports quals and personal development skill building.

My responsibilities include teaching, managing a team of staff, monitoring and evaluating student progress, staff appraisals and observations.

Project Manager for a community cohesion sports and dance project across Loughborough and the surrounding villages.Successes included designing and delivering an international sport and dance program in partnership with Venhastili village school in Gujarat India and was fortunate enough to visit India to study Sport and Dance (and Physical Activity). On my return we produced a book which we distributed to schools in the Charnwood borough and ran a series of sports, dance and Indian culture sessions in primary schools, youth centres and local leisure centres. A truly life changing experience! I also designed and coordinated a multi-agency Golf course makeover project in partnership with StreetGames. This project included an array of partners including the local authority, five local primary schools, two secondary schools, a local refugee and asylum seeker project, a free lance artist, and the local youth services in a project that saw us makeover a local pitch and putt facility. Our volunteer project put new tee box markers, flags, and a mural was painted on the clubhouse. All work on the project was completed by Young People. Once the work was complete we also ran a community Golf day at the course to engage the local neighbourhood and celebrate the efforts of the young people involved. That year we were the best performing StreetGames volunteer project in the country.

Worked with the 32 Golf clubs across Leicestershire and Rutland to increase participation in Golf.highlights included,Development and implementation of Leicestershire Talent academy. Partnership working with schools to create multi-school Tri-Golf festivals across Leicestershire.
