PKD is a full service design and branding consultancy based in Shepherds Bush, London. We offer a range of creative services for both print and online environments, helping brands to realise their full potential. Our client list is wide and varied, since 1998 we have worked for some of the worlds leading companies across a diverse range of industries. Whether it’s creating a concept from scratch or developing an existing identity we bring passion, enthusiasm and experience to every project.We offer clients a vertically integrated creative platform including design and branding services, online design and web development plus specialist services for online campaigns including SEO, Social Media strategies, e-commerce integration and back-end database development. We have a small team of experienced design and account professionals based in London who, together with our partner agencies that help us deliver real value and results-driven success for our clients.PKD was founded by designer Pete Kelsey in 1998, initially servicing the music industry where he worked for 8 years as Head of Art for Universal Music. We have since expanded into other sectors including healthcare, restaurants, property development and fashion.

We created Milltag in 2010 as a response to being unable to find a cycling jersey that was either plastered with sponsors’ logos or simply indistinct from other generic cycle wear. As designers with a love for street culture, snowboarding and music, our mission became clear: to produce bespoke, high quality, technical cycling jerseys that are pieces of art for people like us. A garment whose performance can be relied upon, but that a cyclist would be proud to pull on and guarantee that they will ‘stand out from the peloton’.To achieve this goal, we began creating our own designs and collaborating with artists and designers from all over the world who shared our passion to change the cycle jersey market. We have now established ourselves as the go-to brand for those wanting cyclewear with personality and individuality, and built up a very loyal and dedicated following across the world.We have been privileged to work with some amazing people from Herne Hill Velodrome (as worn by Ned Boulting in ITV's Tour de France coverage), Rollapaluza and from 2014 we became the official kit supplier to professional women’s team Matrix, including double olympic champion Laura Trott. In 2015 we signed up to become the official racewear supplier to the Tour Of Yorkshire, a 3 day world tour level event working alongside Welcome to Yorkshire and Tour de France organisers, the ASO. We also sponsored the Tour of Oman for 3 years from 2017-2019, and the women professional team Bianchi Data.In December 2021 I exited the business to concentrate in PKD and pursue other opportunities in the promotion and development of cycling.

Originally employed as a print buyer, I started designing band t-shirts on the kitchen table and eventually ended up heading up the art department in charge of a team of 7 designers and production staff. Over the course of 8 years with Universal Music (UK), formally MCA Records, I had the pleasure of working on campaigns for Nirvana, Sonic Youth and The Stone Roses as well as personally designing covers for Ocean Colour Scene and The Seahorses.
