At Nippon Seiki I was contracted to test various builds of Software for dashboards for Jaguar Landrover model vehicles I used used C++ and C language in order to achieve my objectives during my time here. Notable responsibilities include:• Testing builds of Software using a variety of programs which I had to familiarise myself with.• Teach myself to become comfortable working with new computer languages I was unfamiliar with such as C++.• Managing my workload and liaising between project managers to ensure my time was spent effectively.• Implementing a new automatic report writing system for software auditing with the aim of reducing overhead times and improving the efficiency of the software testing process for other software engineers.

My time with the Liverpool University Royal Naval Unit (URNU) was spent in tandem with my university course, I eventually took on the position of divisional officer within the unit. It was a fantastic opportunity which enabled me to learn of the importance of the maritime industry to the UK as well as spend time building my character through leadership roles and intensive teamwork activities.Notable responsibilities include: • Management of my personal development and naval education• Organising of sporting activities and adventurous training expeditions• looking after royalty and driving senior Naval officers during their trips to Liverpool• Navigation, Maintenance, guarding and organisation of other cadets on-board our affiliate ship (HMS Charger) from day to day.

Whilst at sixth form I worked at the Redditch site for the company. I used the experience to improve my customer service, public speaking and organisation skills. I am proud of the strong positive work ethic I developed here which I took on to all of my subsequent employers. I used the funds I raised from the job to pay for an overseas trip to Uganda and my driving licence. Notable responsibilities include:• The safety of the customers in a potentially dangerous environment• Delivering customer satisfaction through promoting a safety conscious atmosphere and interacting positively with the public• Maintenance of the equipment• organisation of the days activities for groups of up to 200 customers
