The IT team supported one of the most dynamic and complex operating environments in the world, serving both Australia and NZ across 1000 sites, 5000+ end users, managing a constant demand to find more efficiencies within a service contract-driven business. Reporting directly to the CIO this was a new strategic role created to support the team’s transition into an agile and dynamic environment responsive to the needs of the Spotless Group. My overall focus was to align the right people to the right place, constantly reviewing and refining the systems we develop to better support the business.Driving transformation, I provided leadership to the entire centralised IT team managing all of Spotless applications, running maintenance and supporting 100 + stakeholders across the Group. This role included transitioning a number of legacy systems and managing the vendors that supported systems, including shortlisting, selection and contract negotiation.
